OOps

I can't believe it's Monday already, and I haven't posted since last Wednesday! I was having problems with my laptop not letting me sign in the end of last week, but by time I got it to work, I was too busy to post! I don't have much time right now to say much, I have to finish getting ready for work and make lunch.
But let's see, what did I do this weekend? Had a date night on Friday, went out to dinner and the mall with Jordan. He bought me a beautiful pink sapphire ring at Helzburg Diamonds at the Quaker Bridge Mall. I'll try to remember to take a picture of it tonight when I get home!
On Saturday we had an adventure trying to get to New Hope, PA, there was some Cycling Road Race going on that closed down a main road. Only they decided to post the sign right before you come upon the race, it's like, Ok, don't bother to put a sign that the road is closed back up by the highway! Everyone had to K-turn to go back because there were no side streets or anything to get out! No one said people had common sense I guess.
Oh gosh, look at the time already! I better get my tushy schooshing!

It's a Wormie!
As I was going through some pictures I have stored on my digital camera, I came across this picture, I just about died laughing it was too cute! This is Wormie, he is a moisture indicator, so-to-speak. What he is supposed to do it absorb moisture in the soil, so when he is darker, the soil is moist enough, when he is lighter, you need to water. I bought him for about $1.50 at Lowes when I bought my windowbox. The last two days of work have been very productive! It's so nice to be at a job where you are appreciated. I had a chance to start answering phones yesterday when I got back from my lunch break, and today I got to take my first two orders. I've also started doing some data entry for new product the website will be carrying, thankfully I've done similar stuff with my websites over the years, as far as organizing everything and whatnot.
Jordan and I went to Perkins for dinner, ran into my sister, her husband, and my baby nephew there. I scooped up my nephew as we walked by their table and took him while they finished eating, he just sat there on my lap gnawing on my finger. He's almost five months old, he is the most adorable baby! His eyes are so big and so doey, like "I'm cute, love me!"
Our waitress was very attentive to us, she was new, but very nice! It was such a change from Chili's where we get ignored like a group of rowdy teens.
Till Tomorrow,

New Job - So far so good!
Well today I started my new job working for Homelement.com. I was very excited since the interview back on May 30TH when I got the job on the spot! And today did not let me down, granted there was a time or two were I was a little bored, but overall the day was productive. The people I work for a great, they are very relaxed about everything, and one of the best parts, I can walk in to work in jeans, a t-shirt, and flip flops. Talk about an awesome dress code! Honestly, not having to invest in a new wardrobe, not having to dress up, for what? Granted I won't walk in looking dirty or slobby, but being comfortable while working is great.
Also now that I'm starting this job, I need to start working out and eating right. So I just might start a blog on that too. :)

My Dad

Today was Father's Day, the third one I've had to go through without having my father. It brought back little memories of vacations in Gettysburg, watching him look at his civil war bullets and belt buckles, talking with him, watching him do a silly little dance, listening to him teach, silly songs, and butterfly kiss your noseys.
But a little of three years ago, I lost my dad to bladder cancer. He battled with it for a year and a half, most of that time was spent in the hospital, where I saw him all of two times. Hospitals and me do not mix, unless it's the maternity ward, I get very upset at all the sick people around me. So much I feel helpless and depressed, my heart goes out to every person.
My dad was a very God fearing father, who loved his wife and all six of his children, later in life his grandson. He taught us all to be at church every week, praising God and being active in the ministries.
I love you Daddy. <3
